Well..I started preparing for GMAT 2 months ago and I have purchsed the following for preparation:

1.OG
2.Kaplan-Cracking the GMAT
3.Princeton Review-Cracking the GMAT

I have completed the Kaplan book and have finished the Math section and CR of the OG and have also finished all the questions in the Princeton book.

The following are my practice test scores

1.490-Kaplan(given in the book)
2.460-Kaplan(online)
3.460-Princeton CAT 1
4.460-Princeton CAT 2

This performance of mine is really deteriorating my confidence about my abilities..I want to get into a B-school which comes under Top 50 and im planning to apply for Jan 2008 intake for which I would have to submit my applications by the second week of May(as advised)..So I have to take the GMAT in another 35-40 days..

Pls advice me as to what is the most appropriate thing to do now and genuinely please tell me about my chances for getting a 650+ because that is my target score..

Take the GMATPrep tests provided by GMAC at the http://www.mba.com website as it gives the most accurate prediction of your performance in the GMAT if you take it.

Based on your score in GMATprep test, then and only then you may be able to tell if you have decent chances of getting 650 on the GMAT.

If you live with the questions for another 30 - 40 days surely you can get that much score. First prepare very hard for another 20 days and try the GMATprep. Then you find how much is score and move forward.

As Mishari noted GMATprep score will be very close to the actual score.
