I am from India, graduated in 2005 with Commerce degree and have been working for about 2.5 years since. I recently took the GMAT for the first time and got a low score of 610. I am not really looking at getting admissions to the top schools, so could you help in evaluating which b-schools would suit my profile the best? Here is some additional info on me:
Work Exp: Accenture Services Pvt Ltd., Ernst & Young Pvt Ltd
Academics: 80% in Graduation and an average of 89% in high school.
Awards & recognition: Won a Celebrating Performance Award within 6 months of working in Accenture
Extra curr: Helped drive a literacy campaign in school, Part of a Less-plastic campaign during college as a member of OIKOS (an environment orgn)
Sorry for the late reply. You didn't mention your goals, which is important in selecting schools. I do note that you are only 22, so you have an additional hurdle to clear besides GMAT score. If you could wait until you get 2-3 years of work experience and raise that GMAT score to the 650 range, then the fact that you are female would open up many more opportunities for you in terms of competitive schools.
