Vault guides are popular with MBA folks for understanding different careers. You can also go to
https://www.interviewbay.com/blog and find relevant career information on Management Consulting and five finance career tracks (Investment Banking, Sales & Trading, Risk management, Operations, Private Wealth Management). Good luck!

After digging through these forums for a while now there doesn't seem to be any sort of basic guide to what the options are available to MBA grads. Basically what I was looking for would be something like the below form:
Job type (ex Management Consunting)
Short description of responsibilities.
Expected hours (ex 60-80 per week)
Pay range
Program requirement (ex if the job requires attending a top 10 program or if they recruit from a larger range of programs.)
Other pertinent information (ex link to a more detailed thread)
I know that a lot of this information already exists somewhere on these forums but most of it is either scattered or old. Some background on me: I just took the GMAT for the first time about and did better than I expected with very little studying and no practice tests. I was originally only planning to apply for a local part time program and keep working but now I think I want to look at full time programs.
