What do b-schools really look for in an interview? [#permalink]

Just a question I have been pondering for quite some time! Obviously, "fit" and articulation of goals etc. But really, how does 30 mins or an hour tell someone about the real you and what makes you tick?
Any thoughts are welcome!

Generally, schools want to get to know you, ensure that you can present yourself and make coherent statements. In some cases, they want to make sure that your speaking skills match your essays. Any thoughts are welcome! In three words: Honesty, research, and insight. The first word is self explanatory. By research, I mean how much research the applicant has done on the university and the program. Insight refers to the candidate's ability to understand his/her goals with respect to the MBA program that he/she is interviewing for.
