What have I missed since October??? [#permalink] New post 08 Jan 2004, 09:40
I took the GMAT last October and wasn't very happy with the score I got. Nerves really got the better of me. Been on a brake from the non-stop studying and now want to get back into it again so I can take the test again in April. Big mistake on my part not keeping up with things but I just needed to seperate myself from all this before I lost my mind lol.

Anyway, are there any new books that are must gets?? Is there a new version of the Official Guide?? Anything in particular that I should be reading without a doubt.

Im considering taking the Kaplan GMAT course to see if that will give me a boost in confidence. I sure as hell need it :)

I myself haven't seen anything new except the paper-based tests you can get now from mba.com. They still haven't put out the 11th edition of the OG - maybe they'll have an update on the site. The 2004 editions of the commercial prep books are out, but most of them have minor updates, not major overhauls.

kk thanks. Just wanted to make sure. Yeah I noticed that there are 2k4 books now for most of the study guides but from what I understand the changes are so minor that it really isn't worth buying again.

Actually, I did forget until I replied to your other post...PR's materials are harder now than they were before, but I don't know how many of the questions and practice tests in the 2004 edition are new. You could call them and hopefully get an answer (dunno if that's info the customer support reps would have readily available).
