What is the algebraic solution?


A 500 ml solution is 20% alcohol by volume. If 100 ml of water is added, what is the new concentration of alcohol?

Do you have 16.6 or 17 % among answer choices :)

new solution 500+100=600

600x=500*1/5
x=1/6=~17%
