RC99 is no doubt the best resource for practicing passages. However, the book doesn't have any strategies and is meant for intense practice. I'd suggest that you go through some of the basic strategies on RC on the RC forum here and then do it. Better still, there's a "Thursdays with Ron" video for RC which is an amazing video on how to tackle RC. Once you're done with that, then move on RC99.I don't think you'll need any other book after that.

From my personal experience i can say that implementing RC strategies is tougher than just learning them. Here's the link http://www.manhattangmat.com/blog/index ... o-youtube/ You may wanna see it on youtube or download the eluminate software( I hope I have not got the spelling wrong ) and watch the video . Once you're done with the strategies ,then you can move on to RC99.

I've been looking around for reading comprehension strategies. I was very disappointed by what I found out there. Everywhere the explanations I just don't understand and can't bear myself to spend forever on the passages. So far, the best strategy i've come across is from GMATPill - their Reading Comprehension videos go through a thought process which has been really helpful to me. Reading Comprehension tips from GMATPillhttp://www.gmatpill.com/gmat-prep-about ... sion-tips/There are passages from the Official Guide that they provide explanations for..at least so far it's free so I can't complain at all. Looks like they'll come up with an RC pill, something i might go for since i'm already good at math. Just need that reading..and I was do the worst in that section
