What is the greatest common divisor of positive integers m and n ?
(1) m is a prime number.
(2) m and n are consecutive integers.

1) is insufficient. We know nothing of integer n.

2) is sufficient. Take any two consecutive positive integers and their common divisor is 1.

Two consecutive integers are also said to be relative primes
