i would go with E

looking for z = ._?

statement A:
Z(100) = (._?)100

Statement A says _?.2

doesnt help figure out anything really

statement B:
Z(1000)= ._?(1000)

statement B says _?2

doesnt help in finding out ?

even combining, they both just say the same thing

E

another for E. Both tell you the same digit, which does not help determine the hundredths digit of z.
