Hei guys,

I'm attending a Masters program in Organizational Psychology and intend to take a PhD. What would be a good Masters GPA to get into a top PhD program? My semester 1 scores are not the greatest! I will be begining my 2nd semester in a week.

There is no such thing as a minimum Masters GPA... There will be more concentration on your entire application package... but it is strange for someone to have a low Masters GPA and then want to get their PhD. How low is your GPA? Masters GPA's are usually higher than Undergrad GPA's b/c anything below a B average and you're usually on academic probation

I am just entering the 2nd semester of the Masters programme. I should have a B+ average by the time I graduate. I have a paper publication now, will get another one hopefully by the time Sem 2 finishes. I will be taking the GMAT in Sep/ October. My under grad GPA is low, so I would like to overcome that deficiency there.

Pubs+Masters GPA+GMAT Score+SOP+LoRs = Entire application package right?
