(1) INSUFFI => i know the most expensive but no clue about least
(2)just the average does not give clue,here we get sum of 100 book prices =5000 => no clue about range ,highest and lowest can be any numbers !!!INSUFFI

(1) and (2)
Most expensive=$100
sum=5000
least can be any value hence INSUFFI

IMO E

For finding an answer to this, we need to know the price of the most expensive and the least expensive book.

The price of the least expensive book cannot be found out using any option alone or together.

hence E

From statement 1 we cant find the price range
From statement 2 also we cant find the price range
If we combine Statement 1 and 2 the price range can be anything starting from 0 (if you consider 2 books)to 100.
So the ans is E

What is the price range for 100 books?
(1) The most expensive book is $100.
(2) The average price for all of books is $50
