What is the probability that at least 2 of the presidents of the United States
have died on the same day of the year? If you bet this has happened, would you win your bet?

a pretty controvercial question, for it requires a lot of specific knowledge.
there have been 43 presidents, correct?
there are 365-366 days
P=1-P(all died in different days)
P(event) = 1-P(~event)
P(~event) is difficult to find. Total outcomes are 366^43. Favorable are 366*365*364*...*323
It is not a GMAT-like question. It would be more convenient to ask for the same day of a week.

Draw a tree diagram. Two presidents so two events. for one president 365 days for each of these 365 there are again 365 days. so bottom is 365^2. Only on line from the tree will have same day like day1 and day1 or day21 and day21. so the probability is
365/365^2
1/365
I guess
