1) n is a multiple of 5

(1)
just plug in numbers.
say n = 5. 5/6 = remainder = 1
if n = 15, 15/6 --> remainder = 3
if n= 20, 20/6 --> remainder = 2

hence we can't be certain....therefore insufficient.

(2) n is a multiple of 12 and 12 is a multiple of 6.

therefore n/6 will have a 0 remainder.

Hence the answer is (B)

Think in in terms of prime factor, we need atleast one 2 and one 3 to be a multiple of 6
st:1 doesnt have it
st 2: 12 = 2^2*3 gives us a 2 and a 3.
hence B
