hi everyone

i am looking to apply for ms acc for fall 08

i have slight idea about accounting firled but was wondering whether it ll b possible to make it into investment banking after ms accounting?

especially in sell side of equity research or M&A area of coporate finance

plz someone advice

IMO...It has more to do with where you are getting your masters, and if investment banks recruit on your campus.

If you really want I-Banking/Corp Fin then getting an MBA from a top-10 school is the best way to go, simply because the Merrill Lynches and Morgan Stanleys are likely to recruit there for their associate program.

For equity research, an MBA, M.Sc. Finance, and/or CFA is the way to go.
