In this kind of question it is important to distiguish between At least one and Exactly one

they key phrase is "pair"

why?when we combine st1 and st2 we can also get..a series like

-3,0,3,6,9 and here sum is not zero..

Because the question specifies a "pair" = only two numbers.
why?when we combine st1 and st2 we can also get..a series like

-3,0,3,6,9 and here sum is not zero..
.
