What is the sum of the first 50 common numbers between the series 15,19,23....... and 14,19,24.........?

A) 25550
B) 24540
C) 24450

series1 is every 4, series2 is every 5, so LCM is 20, so its 19, 39,59,79

so 19+49*20= 19+980=999

Avg*#of terms=sum, so 19+999/2 * 50 = 1018/2 * 50 = 509 * 50 = 25450

It's D.

Series with difference d1 =4 and d2=5
So, common terms will be with a difference of LCM of 4 and 5 =20

Sum of first 50 terms = 50/2(2*19 + (50-1)20)

Simplify to get
25450
