What is the value of (a-b)/(b+c)?

1) a+b=b-c

2) (a/c) = -1

I don't understand the approach. Can someone help me and show their work and logic? Thanks.

What is the value of (a-b)/(b+c)?

1) a+b=b-c

2) (a/c) = -1

a+b = b-c => a = -c

-c-b/(b+c) = -1 (c+b)/(b+c) = -1.
