1. R^R = R
2. (\frac{1}{R})^R = R

Statement 1:
R^R = R => R^R-1 = 1 => (R-1) log R = 0 => (R-1) = 1 or R = 1

Statement 2:
1 = R^(R+1) => (R+1) log R = 0 => R = -1

Both statements can independently answer the question so Answer D.

Should be 'E'

Stmt1: Possible values of R = 0,1,-1
Insuff

Stmt2: Possible values of R = 1,-1
Insuff

Taking them together: R =1,-1
Still Insuff

i think R can be -1 or 1.
my answer is E.

OA is E.

R can be both 1 and -1.
