SOLUTION

What is the value of w + q ?

(1) 3w=3-3q. Rearrange and reduce by 3: w+q=1. Sufficient.
(2) 5w +5q = 5. Reduce by 5: w+q=1. Sufficient.

Answer: D.

Hi,

Difficulty level: 500,

Using (1),
3w=3-3q
or 3(w+q) = 3
or w+q = 1, Sufficient.

Using (2),
5w +5q = 5
or w+q = 1, Sufficient.

Thus, Answer is (D)

What is the value of w + q ?
