Ans:A

x^2=4x --> x=+/-(2)sqrt(x) --> sqrt(x)=+/-2 (dividing both sides with sqrt(x)) --> x=4 in both cases ie.sqrt(x)=2 or sqrt(x)=-2
or simply
x^2=4x implies x*x=4x, cancelling x on both sides u get x=4(can we do this way -if yes answer is A)

Slipped on this one. :oops: Ans = E

1) x=0 or 4 => Insuff

2) can be any even integer, thus -2, 0, 2, 4, etc => Insuff

Combined : x = 0 or 4 thus Insuff....

Trick : 0 (Zero) is an even integer !
