isnt this just anything between 0 and 1 and between -1 and 0 ?

so 0<x<1 or and -1<x<0

sqrt(X^2) < sqrt(1)
(plus or minus)X < (plus or minus)1

we have 4 scenarios. why did u pick two of the scenarios

or
