What % of people who get interviews get accepted? [#permalink] New post 17 Nov 2010, 17:56
I am applying to Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University's EMBA program (Jan. 2011 intake), and just found out that "the Admissions Committee has decided to invite you for an admissions interview", and I was wondering what percent of people who get to the interview stage get accepted into the MBA programs (industry average)?

Note: Yes, I know I applied late in the cycle, the opportunity arose as we just opened an London office.

My qualifications:

GMAT: (Only had two weeks two study, know I could improve across the board)
Total: 690
Quant: 44
Verbal: 40
Essays: 5

Certifications: Passed all three levels of CFA exam (June 08,09,10)
*Need around 6 more months of relevant work experience to qualify for Charter.

Work:
2+ years as a private equity Analyst
2+ years as a Project Manger/Business Development

School:
2.9 GPA, yes I know its horrible. I have changed a lot since then.

Any feedback on my chances would be helpful, and I apologize if this is the wrong forum. Let me know if it is.

Hi meabeln,

The percentage of people who interview and get accepted varies from program to program. For example, Harvard Business School accepts a very high percentage of candidates that they interview (at times over 50%), but this is different among business schools.

I think what is most important is that you prepare and give your best, and not pay too much attention to factors outside of your control.

I hope this was of help.

Best,

Conrad and the Stacy Blackman Team
