What's New with GMAT Club

See what we are working on and be the first to know about the new features, and coolest content that we are adding! I will aim to update this thread weekly as it seems we always have some new improvements and features released.

Timer Difficulty! We now have difficulty values in the timer, so if you are attempting a question that has had over 20 sessions/attempts, there will be a difficulty value associated with the question based on all user experience. For example this PS Question is 70th percentile in terms of difficulty compared to ALL OTHER questions on GMAT Club.

2/26/2013 Updates (cumulative)

The bookmarks on the forum have been updated and now there is a bookmark button next to the title (to the left of it) See a screenshot of it here
RSS/News Feed for any Forum
The GMAT Club Forum Timer got a revamp and now is on the version 5! The new update has added some stats about how other users perform on average. See this question to see the timer in action.
The home page now has tiles with logos of business schools to help you get to your favorite school discussions faster. They are arranged in the order of applicant counts on GMAT Club.
We have moved the location of the find-gmat-study-groups-buy-sell-books-4/ Forum - now it is a part of the General GMAT Questions and Strategies forum to help you find study partners or materials faster
A great new SC post ultimate-sentence-correction-encyclopedia-147357.html
The profile area has been updated - now you can find users' best posts very easily and you can also leave a note on their profile. See the screenshot below.

Can we have a timer (as a user suggested) for RC section or single post ??

Soon I upgrade my feeds in my Rss feed reader.

In thios page create_syndication.php could be usewful to provide a link to, for instance, a feed reader ?' maybe for a user could be usefl to know....

We have added a new feature to the School Discussions forum - now you can see on the tile the number of applicants as well as the total number of posts/replies within each school

We have also added a cool feature - "Also Applied to" tab in the School Discussions Forum.
Now, for each school you can find out what the overlap in applicant pool is with other business school programs. Right now, it goes over the data based on the last 2-3 years and in a few days we'll limit it to just the current season so it is fresher.

I hope it will help you to see what overlap exists between schools and also gives an idea where else to apply. E.g. if you are looking at Haas, what other logical choices are there?
