What's the difference between so X that Y and X so that Y?
Usage of "so X that Y" can be used in the following scenarios:
"He was injured so
he needed immediate medical attention"
"The room was so
she had to re-decorate it"
On the other hand, usage of "X so that Y" can be used to denote the element of purpose, e.g.:
"He gave her a car so that
she could drive to work"
"She donated gifts so that
the organization could offer to various charitable homes"
