What's the Most Unattractive Post MBA Job? [#permalink]

As I was reading this article on AsktheHarvardMBA.com: What industries provide the greatest earning potential?http://www.asktheharvardmba.com/2008/12 ... potential/I had to ask: In this current job market where many of us will be simply lucky to have a decent job offer, what kinda jobs are the most unattractive in your opinion? For example, in the show Entourage, Lloyd is Stanford MBA working as an assistant...... Any opinions?

Poor Lloyd.
To answer the above question:
1) Being able to find only temp jobs after graduation
2) Former students w BearStearns or Lehman Brothers rescinded offers
3) An anchor at CNBC
4) Babysitter

Anything you could've done without having to pay 100k in tuition fees. Say .. for example: people who go into a big 4 accounting firm after an MBA

The key is the hindsight mood, or the perception u build immediately post-MBA period, because a guy who did his MBA for the money in IB might infact over the 2 years decide not to even apply there, or lets say even if he does and gets in but takes up an offer from a non-profit panda saving company (think WWF, not the wrestling pls). Now the question would be whether that job is attractive or not to him and the answer to that lies in the question whether he is happy with it, which as we all know is subjective and possible albeit quite unlikely but then again this whole scenario is unlikely as b-schools like to be sure that those being admitted are sure of what they want. So although it might seem I have offered no answer, I am trying to say that this question is realistically impossible to answer before the MBA.

Anything involving the words "paper or plastic?". More seriously though, I'd be pretty annoyed if I ended up at a job that I could've gotten without the MBA. If I chose to work there, that's fine. But if I work there because I HAVE to, that would entirely suck.
