I have undergrad finance degree from an unknown foreign institution.
My math background includes only Calc I and II.
To make my Finance PhD application strong, I will do an MS and do math courses on the side.

Does it matter where I do the MS and the courses?
What is important: Relevant Courses on Transcript or Reputation of the Institution?

I need to choose between SUNY Buffalo (MS Economics) and UT Arlington (MS Quant Finance). I need to make this decision soon. Please help.
