When a certain projector is 3 feet from the screen, the area of the picture on the screen is 6 square feet. If the projector is moved to a position n times as far away from the screen, then the picture will take up n^2 times as much space on the screen. When this projector is 5 feet from the screen, the area, in square feet, of the picture on the screen is

a) 50/3
b) 23
c) 100/3
d) 36
e) 60

A) 50/3

we have -

3n = k*6n^2 (k=some constant)
If screen is 5ft away from projector, then n=5/3
On calculation, comes out to 50/3.
