When do I schedule my GMAT...? [#permalink] New post 22 Jan 2004, 10:23
Guys,
I need your advise on when to schedule my test.I cannot take more than a day off from work ...and at the same time I want to give myself enuf time to relax after the absorbing 2 months of study I would be doing from now on.
I m thinking of scheduling it on a monday...morning session so that I have Sat n Sun to chill out and take my mind off the test.

Will Monday be ok...or will it be as noisy as it is on the weekends.

Please advise.

Vivek.

Monday seems like a good choice..you can spend the weekend relaxing or doing some last minute cramming.

Are you a morning person? Many centers offer afternoon times after the morning ones fill up. This is definitely recommended if you're not a morning person.

best of Luck Vivek. GMAT is a test of nerves as well as of ability so be calm and composed the night before. Which center are you going to ?

Hi Vivek [#permalink] New post 29 Jan 2004, 15:24
All the best for your GMAT.

I have also registered for GMAT, next Friday. Though I didn't get much time to prepare (along with a hectic job), I am willing to take a shot at GMAT.

So far, I am quite comfortable with Quant questions (some silly mistakes once in a while), but not so comfortable with Verbal Q. I tend to spend a lot of time on RC and CR, sometimes mess SC.

I just came to know about this GMAT club and got myself registered. I browsed through some of the forums. It's very interesting.

Can you please tell me how I can use these resources? It asks me for login/pw everytime I click on any link and doesn't accept the same login/pw which I created.

Thanks a lot.

Amol,

#1 go to http://www.gmatclub.com/

#2 click on FORUM (On the top row)

#3 You will get to the homepage of this forum.

#4 You would find a link 'Log In' on the top right hand side of this page...just click on it and when you put in your login id and password just check the box which says 'Log me on automatically each visit'.

Thats takes care of your password prob.

The firs thing you do on this site is to go to the LINKS section (again you can find that on top right hand side of of the page)
It would prompt you for login id and password...just give the same login and password which you had previously given.
Peruse this section...inside out...there are tons of useful resources in the links provided in this section.
Broswe through 'Verbal Questions'..try solving some queries posted by other members.
One good post is : http://www.gmatclub.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=4253

same goes for Math...just browse this section...this section is particularly useful for Prob and Comb problems.

Let me know if this is helpful.

Vivek.

I get the following message :

Incorrect Password - Authorization Required

To proceed to the member areas of the GMATClub, you need to register!
Registration is free and easy - there are only 6 fields to fill in.

I tried using the same login/pw, but doesn't work. I'll keep trying.

In case you can think of anything, please let me know what I could be doing wrong.

Thanks.
