Hmm, I'm stuck between B and D

int = x = 96.12 * y
X will be integer when 96.12 is multiplied by 75 or 25
What's next?...

Its B

96.12 = 96 + 0.12
Therefore remainder 9 when divided by Y = 0.12
9/Y = 0.12.
Y = 75

I beg your pardon, gk2k2, but could you please explain this (I can't get it)? Is it a kind of properties?

UPD: Sorry, I got it =)

x/y = 96.12 = 96 + 12/100 = 96 + 3/25

Now to get remainder 9, you must represent it as:

96 + 9/75 so that (96* 75 + 9) when divided by 75 will leave remainder 9. Therefore answer would be 75.

If it were 25, the remainder would be 3.

B, 75.

x = 96.12y + r (given)
x/y = 96.12 + r/y (where r/y represents the decimal portion of the quotient)
r/y = 9/y = .12
y = 9/.12 = 75
