When shall we hold a GMATClub 2007 get together [#permalink]

When should the get together take place?
This poll is related to this other poll:

This is an initial poll to choose months, then we'll fine tune within the chosen month. Ideally, the get together should take place on a Saturday, to allow enough time for some short - mid distance driving and or flying.
Let us know when school starts for you. And how early do you intend to arrive in the US (if you are an international).

My school starts on 4th of September. The earliest I can arrive is 5 of Aug. And, I don't want to miss this!

I'm flying over this August (10th) to pick up a set of wheels in Florida. I will then make the cross country drive in hopefully 5~7 days (only stopping for gas and redbulls) all the way back to Seattle, with a quick visit with mom in LA before shooting up I-5 through SF and Portland. I can make an East coast gig just after the 10th, midwest around the 13th, or West coaster just after mid August.
UW happens to be the one school that starts late (September 17th), so June or July are still a little early.

That's insane! that's more than 3k miles.
Have very very safe trip! If you happen to drive by MD, I will definitely serve a nice warm shower/food and of course a cold redbull.

It looks like August is getting a lot of action. I need to be in Charlottesville by August 15th or so, so late August is out for me (classes start the 20th). Early to mid August in the Midwest is a possibility, as I will be driving through the region.

Pelihu, just see how the vote is going. My school starts on August 1st, so I can only make it on July or earlier. But even if I can not make it this year, I will send you guys flowers with lots of love  .

Another possibility would be for you to fly for the meeting (since it would be held on a Saturday)? If booked ahead of time, the air ticket shouldn't cost that much, but of course, that'd be your decision to make. We could also consider holding the get together at an earlier time in the day to make sure people can fly in and out the same day (if that's an issue for some people).
The issue for internationals (like myself) is that we can't enter the US with the student visa until about 30 days before school starts. And since some schools start as late as early September, we are mostly limited to sometime in August.
Anyway, let's see how the poll goes. The idea is to have as much people as possible join us.

Yes. Following up the mail of lepium. For you guys are living in the US, It's easy to move, to drive, to fly, to arrange...For international students first time come to the US, it's even hard to find a way from airport to the dorm... Please make sure that we have a crowded GMATclub party. -Thanks.

The best time for me is the 2nd half of July. My school starts begining of August (mandatory pre-term) and some classes will apparently be held on weekends  As you can imagine , I'm not very happy about it but it is mandatory so I have no choice and we still don't have a set schedule so I don't know which weekeds will be free.

I think one person should write his/her options (when) he/she can join and we will count them. So, we will reach maximum number of people for our party.
For me, I can join first half of Aug and second half of Aug.
Don't we have a button that can vote for more than 1 option?
