n/6 leaves a remainder of 3.
So n can be expressed as 6k + 3.

A) n – 3 = 6k + 3 - 3 = 6k multiple of 6
(B) n + 3 = 6k + 3 + 3 = 6k + 6 multiple of 6
(C) 2n = 2(6k + 3) = 12k + 6 multiple of 6
(D) 3n = 3(6k + 3) = 18k + 9 NOT a multiple of 6
(E) 4n = 4(6k + 3) = 24k + 12 multiple of 6
