When to use "which~" and ",which~" [#permalink] New post 14 Aug 2006, 17:45
Can someone please explain this for me?
It seems like most of the answers in OG use either "that" or "modifying phrase".

In general - "which" is used to DESCRIBE a phrase.

"That" is used to restrict the scope of what you are talking about.
