1. x is a prime number
2. x+3 is a multiple of 10

Answer is E.

Pick Numbers

Lets pick 12, remainder is 2 and not divisible by 7

For b, x = 12 remainder when divided by 5 is 2, x+3 = 15, not multiple of 10

But when you pick 7 both S1 and S2 hold true. Answer is E

1 ; X IS A PRIME NUMBER , LET US SAY X=7; WHEN 7 DIVIDED BY 5 REMAINDER IS 2 AND ITS DIVISIBLE BY 7 , BUT WHEN X=17 , WHEN DIVIDED BY 5 REMAINDER IS 2 BUT NOT DIVISIBLE BY 7
INSUFF.

2 ; AGAIN SUPPOSE WE TAKE 7 AND 17 , CONDITION THAT X+3 IS A MULTIPLE OF 10 FOR BOTH BUT 17 NOT DIVISIBLE BY 17

BOTH TAKEN TOGETHER IS THE SAME PROBLEM
