Where should i apply and what are my chances? [#permalink]

I'm graduating this June and am interested in applying for the Masters in Finance Course at LSE or Warwick 2013. The Masters in Management Course at LBS also seems like a brilliant course. My main interest is Finance but a course in Management would also do. I'm mainly looking for the experience of going to a really good B-School.
I've been a fairly good student till high school. I scored 87% in the 10th grade and 83% in the 12th. However while studying engineering for the past 4 years, I havent been able to keep up the score and my grades only average out at 55%. With lot of hardwork, I'm expecting a distinction in the final semester. I plan to give the GMAT in August and am aiming at a score of 720-750.
I have also led the Community Service Committee at college as Creative Head and have internship experience at a leading manufacturing company. Volunteered and held leadership positions at AIESEC
Do i stand a chance in applying to any of these colleges? Any other colleges/universities that I should consider?
What else can i do to improve my application? Will taking the CFA Level 1 exams or doing a short course in Finance help? I have time till next year.

You should take your GMAT first before considering your options. If you have your heart set on a specific school then you really need to work on your profile. Take extra classes to boost your GPA. Work really hard to get ABOVE the median GMAT score.
