Hi bb/b-School forum moderators,
Through our forum, how and where I can ask questions directly to the Admission Director/Adcom representative of any of the top 15 b-Schools in US like what can be done for CBS, TUCK etc.?

What about HBS,Wahrton,Kellogg,Booth,Duke,Ross,UCLA....? It would be really great if you can shed some light on this...

Much appreciate your reply.

Great question.

My response is: "What is the information you seek?"

Every admissions staff is organized in the way that makes the most sense to their organizational goals. Generally, the Director of Admissions (for any school, let alone the top 15) is not going to be available to answer general questions. It's a simple issue of supply and demand. The mere volume of questions posed to admissions offices is enormous.

If your question is a general question, see if you can find the answer on the school's web site.

If you are just trying to get your name in front of the Admissions staff so they will know your name, don't do it. Those efforts are very transparent, and they waste the valuable time of the admissions committee.

If you have a unique question or situation, then you can reach an Assistant or Associate Director, and they will do an excellent job representing the program and answering your questions.

In fact, I recommend that all serious applicants develop a relationship with one of the staff members (Assistant or Associate Directors) so that you can have a point of contact.

If I can help further, let me know!

Wendy

Hi Wendy,
Thanks for such a detail resposne...Actually I was curious as I couldn't find a place in GC where one can ask questions specific to that school to the representative of Adcom (not necessarily it has to be the director or assistant director :) ) as what's available for CBS, Tuck etc.

Well, I've a general question for you...hope you'll help me out with the same!

Could you please provide me some detail information on the big Real Estate companies (I mean what are the companies that come to recruit from the fresh b-school grads) in US,recruiting from top 20 b-Schools out there...?
What is the average package for these firms for fresh top 20 b-Schools grads in US?
What is the reasonable and expected salary growth 3-5 years down the line with these firms?
How do your see the growth prospects of these firms and career growth with them as compared to big Consultancy firms? (If comparable to any extent at all...)

Any feedback is highly appreciated.
