slow when the ocean is colder ... rapid when the ocean is warmer.

But C changes the whole thing..original statement talks of warm sea and cold atmosphere.. C states exactly the opposite (warm air and cold sea). Is this possible?

C does not change the meaning. the original sentence also says heat transfer is rapid when ocean is warmer and slow when ocean is colder.the sequence is only altered.

i'll also go for C
