Hi Ameyash,

I'd recommend option 4). The 2013 edition is our most recent and up-to-date book, and GMAT Premier comes with more practice tests and other online resources than Essentails--if you're starting from scratch, they'll prove useful!

The official guide is up to the 13th edition, and that's the one you want. There aren't enough unique problems to make investing in 12th ed worth is, and once you start getting older, you risk facing problems that aren't quite testlike anymore. Don't forget that the test-maker also releases official Verbal and Math workbooks, though; they might be just what you need!

Let me know if you have any more questions, and good luck with your preparation!

Regards,
