B

In A x=4 is valid and it shouldn't be
In C x=3 is not valid and it should be

B is valid for -1,0,1,2,3 and is not valid for -2 and 4

-2< x< 4
-2-1 < (x-1) < 4-1
-3 < (x-1) < 3
=> |x-1| <3

I am using the property that for |x| < y
-y <x < y

any takers for this one.

B. |x-1|<3

So, -3<x-1<3
(-3+1)<(x-1+1)<(3+1)
-2<x<4

Shouldn't the second inequality be x-2 > -4 .... x>-2?
