Hi there!


Is there anyone of you who knows whether the issue or the argument is first?
Is there a certain order that they appear or either one can be first?

Do you mean "premise" by "issue" and "conclusion" by "argument" ? If so, yes, they could appear in even more complicated ways as Premise-Conclusion-Premise. There are even arguments (the combination of premises and a conclusion) with more than one conclusions.
I would say that finding the conclusion is not the most difficult part in CR quesions, but the establishment of strong assumption (the hidden premise). Read some basic materials concerning CR questions :)

I tried to be brief and it looks like I did not express the question that clear :)
I mean the AWA part - the two essays.
Is the analysis of an issue first, or is it the analysis of an argument?
