Start looking at schools with top 50 MBA ranks. Find schools with professors doing research in "green" supply chains. I'll get you started - Dan Guide at PSU does work in closed loop supply chains.

Rank is nearly meaningless for PhD programs. Find a good fit.

Agree with focusing on fit rather than rank.

You may also choose to start your search by looking for faculty who publish in the area of sustainable operations and then talking to students whose dissertations they have supervised. A couple of names come to mind..

Luk Van Wassenhove, Professor at INSEAD
Charles Corbett, Professor at UCLA
Tom Choi, Professor at Arizona State
Laurens Debo, Associate Professor at Chicago Booth (Some of his early work was in the area).

Good luck. :)

You had better go through schools faculty directory to see their interests. UTdallas also provides a great ranking. You can find the post containing the link at the club. Sorry I dont know the link
