Which Schools Trying To Climb Rankings?? [#permalink]
22 Jan 2007, 08:33
A lot of people I have spoken to about b-school have said things about certain schools that I have applied to (like Yale for instance) such as: "Don't worry, with your GMAT score you're all set, they're desperate to climb the rankings so you're in."
There seems to be a perception that some schools eager to climb the rankings are more interested in GMAT scores than anything else. I've heard this said about Yale, Stern, and some other schools that are ranked in the 30's and 40's. Then there are schools like the ultra-elites that turn down tons of great GMAT scores every year because they can afford to.
What are everyone's thoughts, which schools would you say are the most GMAT hungry?

I hope Stern is one of the schools trying to climb up...
This situation is a saver for high GMAT low GPA/WE fellas. And yes, I've heard about Emory and Yale too, also UCLA.
