C is my answer.
A is wrong because it uses has for plural subject
B wrong comparison (owner Vs owners)
D same as B
E wordy and awkward

You're correct that C is the OA.

However choice A uses the singular verb "has" to refer to "the owner" which is singular so this is okay. The difference is between while and whereas. Can someone explain the correct usage of While vs Whereas

C is my asnwer also.

While is usually used when refrencing to time and wheras, I am not sure, can be used for descriptive comparitive event.
