I was talking to a rep about my background at an MBA fair last week, and she told me I should apply through The Consortium. Being a white male, I was a little confused, but she said that every year they accept a decent number of white people who have a history of promoting the organization's mission. Are there any white males out there who've applied through The Consortium? If so, what happened?

Hey tobud. I don't know any white males that applied through the Consortium but I actually told my friend to apply through the Consortium. He is an Asian male. He got accepted with a full ride through Consortium. It has more to do with the fact that 1. He was a good candidate to the schools he applied and 2. that he had helped improve the underrepresentation of minorities in business. Asians are overrepresented (similar to white males). Hope this helps.

Oh I've heard of at least two people who have gone through the consortium, but they DID have years of dedication to diversity (literally YEARS of stuff, volunteering, participating in community stuff, etc.) So they fit the criteria.
