Is this a + factor when applying to US Bschools?

I know someone who got into Harvard (undergrad)
Harvard admitted her because she could speak 8 languages.

I can speak a few.

Tagalog - native
English - native
Chinese-Fookienese - native (language at home)
Spanish - intermediate
Chinese-Mandarin - intermediate (13 years in school)

I promise you Harvard didn't admit her just because she spoke 8 languages. Thats like my saying I got into the GSB because I had a XXX GMAT. It's not that cut and dry - don't fool yourself into thinking it is or you wil llikely be dissapointed....

That said, multilingual is definetly a nice thing to have for your apps.

Hindi - Second Native
Gujarati - Can get by
Bengali - Can get by

Thinking of taking French/Spanish classes if I get some time off in the evenings - my work schedule has been killing me! :oops:

Spanish - Beginner. I'm making big strides though.
