Who is applying where (table attached) [#permalink] New post 20 Oct 2007, 21:19
EDIT (kryzak): mNeo has made this table into a wiki. Hopefully we'll update it and improve it for reference. Of course, I have no idea how to edit it (I clicked "edit" and it gave me some very strange format)...

Have visualized application process of gmatclubbers. Added total number of gmatclubbers applying to certain school. The hottest school are:
Wharton
Michigan
Kellogg
Chicago
Harvard

Updated - added GMAT score.

Very interesting. I think you left out Aviroop.

Well, it's good that us overachieving gmatclubbers aren't applying to the three main schools I'm applying to! :)

Suggesting a v2 with a new column updated automatically... with the number of applications by GMATClubber and with a green colour if the GMATClubber has applied to more schools than an average GMATClubber does.

Maybe you could add GMAT score and some other info...then again this is basically a GMATclub version of admissions411

Now that the site has gone wiki maybe someone could put this on the site so we can all just update out own lines quick and easy.

Don't want to create a gender-based discrimination discussion here but I thought that putting a column indicating whether an applicant is a male or a female might add to the usefulless of the statistics.

Just a suggestion...

BTW, the schools don't add up correctly. Stanford column has 6 applications, but it says "7" at the bottom. Same with all the schools.

This probably would work better if there was a wiki spreadsheet thing like river said.

I suggest this v3... I have fixed the bug in sums and added new lines ready to be complete :)

Waiting for a version in wiki, that's a very good start...

We have only one or two girls as I remember. They could be remembered without spreadsheet :)

The original table was based on data on ADMIT/DINGED thread.
