I thought let me start this thread. I am starting with intention of knowing people's expectation from MBA degree, People's aspiration with MBA degree. This way we can understand different dimension of the MBA, one of the costliest degree still most sought after degree in the globe.
Let me start with myself. I am an engineer by profession and located in India. I have around 10+ years of post graduation experience. My experience varied from manufacturing to high tech industry. Last seven and half years I am woirking in hight tech industry. I worked for start up and big MNCs. I have very good technical career but now I want to move to techno business side. I want to move towards strategy aspects of business so that I can influence company's decision related to strategic marketing, Strategic investment or Product mix. I want to come back and serve same high tech industry but in different role. I can do it without MBA but I feel MBA is fast track, proven and reliable option to do so.
