LaTeX math support in forum [#permalink]

There are some more exciting changes! Thanks to MediaWiki, now you can typeset mathematical formulae in the forum. To do it, use double-$ notation familiar for LaTeX users. In the examples below, replace ? with $:

?? e = mc ^ 2 ??

$$ e = mc^2 $$

?? p_M = c + \frac{1}{3}
\frac{\Delta Q_1 \Delta Q_2 (\theta_1-\theta_0)}{\Delta Q_1 + \Delta Q_2}
??

$$ p_M = c + \frac{1}{3}
\frac{\Delta Q_1 \Delta Q_2 (\theta_1-\theta_0)}{\Delta Q_1 + \Delta Q_2}
$$

The second example is taken from one of my homeworks.

I had to change forum background color to white because formula images are displayed on white. We are working on a better design.

Also, some basic fixes were done to make the forum faster. We are working in this direction as well.
