Will MSc Management hamper my long term plan of doing MBA? [#permalink] New post 22 Dec 2012, 13:19
I am a computer engineer grad from India. Just passed out this year itself. I have already applied for Management Information System courses in US. But since I'm more interested in management side I figured Msc in Management is the way to go. I want to do an MBA for sure but maybe after 7-8 years of solid work experience. If I do Ms in Management course now then lets say 10 years down the line when I apply for MBA, wouldn't it be difficult to convince the bschools why I want to do an MBA after Msc in Management?

So, essentially what I'm asking is that... is Msc in Management a risky option if the end game is an MBA?
