hi linda
one of my recommendor is extremely busy and he has asked one of my previous supervisors to draft the answers to questions in the reco forms. he might not even look at what is written there, as he is confident that this previous supervisor of mine will do a good job at drafting the answers for me.
i am afraid that the school might contact this recommendor to ask him something and he's not going to know what to say as he probably will just upload the answers without reading them.
what are the chances that the school will get back to a recommendor via mail or phone???
thanks for your time linda
Usually, if the schools contact recommenders, they will only ask enough to confirm that the recommendation is not forged. However, some schools will occasionally call a recommender and ask a follow-up question. This is rare, but it can happen.
On the other hand, if the previous supervisor writes about events that happened and that your supervisor will know about, your current supervisor should be able to respond to the question.
Good luck!
