Winter Break Coffee Chats [#permalink]
12 Dec 2007, 17:41
Hi, all. This year, Duke students are hosting coffee chats all over the world - maybe one near you. These are very low-key affairs - jeans, a cup of joe, and a current student who's just there to share their experiences with you. I'm hosting one in that great metropolis, Wichita, KS! There are lots of others, though, and in places where people actually live:

I'm posting this as a new thread because I am sure other schools are doing these too. I went to one by Yale last year, and it was a great experience. These can be hard to find out about, though since they're so low-key. So I thought that if any of you know about similar events hosted by other schools, you could post here too.

Wharton students are hosting similar events in Asia and Europe. I am going to the one in Bangkok next week.

Does anyone know if UNC is hosting similar events? There is nothing posted on their web site...I may send their admissions department an email.

I attended A GSB one here in Cincinnati yesterday. Was fun- didnt really learn anything special but was fun to interact with other applicants and with the first year student (who had great things to say about Rhyme btw!).
